Prostatitis
Prostatitis is the inflammation of the prostate gland, which can cause pain, difficulty urinating, and discomfort in the pelvic area. It can be caused by infections, but sometimes the exact cause is unknown. Symptoms may include frequent urination, pain during urination or ejaculation, and lower back or groin pain. It can be acute (sudden and severe) or chronic (long-lasting). Treatment depends on the cause and may include antibiotics, pain relievers, or therapies like ESWT to reduce inflammation and improve symptoms.
